A Spooktacular Night at Venture’s Sensory-Friendly Halloween Event!

What a fun and festive night at Venture! On Tuesday, October 27, we welcomed families to our annual Sensory-Friendly Trick-or-Treat Night, held for the first time at our new Dudley Day Program building.

We had a wonderful turnout, with 36 children and 38 parents, guardians, and other adults joining us for an evening filled with Halloween fun!

Families enjoyed a variety of activities throughout the building, including an obstacle course in our gym, festive trick-or-treat rooms, a ghost craft, and a photo booth to capture some Halloween memories. Our staff member, Kayla, also shared her talents by offering face painting!

Our sensory-friendly event was designed to provide a welcoming, inclusive environment where children of all abilities could enjoy Halloween activities at their own pace.

A huge thank-you to our Venture staff who helped plan, decorate, volunteer, and make this event possible. Your creativity and dedication helped make the evening special for everyone who attended.

We hope all the children and families who joined us had a wonderful time! We loved seeing so many smiling faces, creative costumes, and families enjoying the festivities together.

At Venture, we believe everyone deserves opportunities to participate in fun, meaningful experiences in their community. Events like this are one way we continue working to make our communities more inclusive and accessible for all.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated Halloween with us. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
