This season, our Day Programs and their teams came together with a shared goal: giving back to the communities that support us. Each program found meaningful ways to make a difference, reflecting compassion, creativity, and community spirit.

Our Sturbridge Day Program proudly supported Clear Path for Veterans, contributing to their service dog program that provides life-changing support to local veterans. In Dudley, our Day Program partnered with Dudley Veteran’s Services to distribute gift cards to local veterans as a small token of appreciation for their service. The Webster Day Program focused on fighting food insecurity by assembling 25 non-perishable dinner kits for the local food pantry, featuring hearty meals such as minestrone soup, chicken tacos, spaghetti, and chili to help keep families warm this winter.

Our Uxbridge Day Program supported Pawfect Life Rescue by purchasing much-needed supplies for their animal shelter. During the visit, participants had the joy of meeting Maple, an adorable puppy currently available for adoption. Meanwhile, our Gardner Day Program created “warm bags” for individuals in need, including people experiencing homelessness, veterans, and children supported by the Gardner Community Action Committee. In total, 20 warm bags and 10 stuffed stockings were donated to help spread comfort and care during the colder months.

Together, these efforts highlight the incredible impact our programs can make when compassion is put into action. We are proud of our participants and staff for continuing to give back and strengthen the communities we call home.
