We are excited to share with you that the Board of Directors and CEOs of Venture Community Services and Life-Skills, Inc. have signed a letter of intent to merge. Upon completion of the merger on July 1st, 2024, Venture will remain the sole entity with Mike Hyland as President & CEO of the combined organization.

Venture and Life-Skills have a long-standing relationship built on shared goals, values, and mission to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The decision to merge will allow us to intentionally shape our future and adapt to trends of agency consolidation within the state. Joining forces will allow the combined organization to have a stronger voice with funders and ensure sustainability. This will also create opportunities to focus on new and expanding needs of our clients and invest in the improvement of our programs and the development of new programsand to attract and retain staff. 

We are excited to create a single organization that is even stronger than its individual parts and will continue to provide consistently high levels of service to individuals in need.
